The simultaneous translation is an extemporaneous translation for conferences with high number of visitors, taking advantage of specific technical structures. In this case it is necessary to set up a system of cabins for the interpreters, with microphones and earphones. The interpreters work in an appropriate cabin with ear- and microphone. The interpretation or simultaneous translation is usually performed by a couple of interpreters per language pair, who listen the speeches via the earphone and simultaneously translate to the listeners.
